replacement slider latch

A handy person from Santa Clara CA says:
I have a broken slider latch from a roughly 15-year-old Viking window (purchased from Lowes). The closest match I could find on your site is 90-278. It mounted correctly, but doesn't latch properly. The old striker lays flat against the window with screws perpendicular to the latch. The old disc is slightly smaller than the 90-278. Thanks for your assistance.

I see what you mean. I think you can keep using the 90-278, but consider our 90-282 in addition. This is a face mounted keeper like your old one.
