replacement spiral balance needed

Question

Hello, I am looking to replace some spiral balances in a window but have never done this before. I got to your Non-Tilt Window 5/8" Diameter Tube Balances page but don't know what series I would need.

Also the ones I am looking to replace have a metal piece attached to the bottom of the spiral that screws into the bottom of the sash. I don't see that on any of the balances here.

Hello,

Take a look at the 5/8" diameter S500 spiral balances for non-tilt windows. You'll need to measure the length of the tube to choose the correct replacement. You'll also need to weigh the sash to follow the chart under the balance product description, which will tell you which color option is needed to support the sash.
