replacement spiral balancers

Quick Learner from Conway, Arkansas, USA
Vinyl windows, 18 years old, single slide. the spiral balancer "top" end is malfunctioning on many windows.

I do not know the brand of the window.

balancers are 28 7/8 inches long, 3/8 in diameter and have a yellow plastic fitting at bottom.

I have 16 windows with same spiral balancer--at least 5 windows have broken balancers. If you can lead me in the right direction, I would like at least 14 replacement balancers.

Also, the release tabs are breaking off on the slide. If you can lead me to replacements, I would be appreciative.

Thank you for contacting us. Can you confirm the diameter of the balance's outer tube? Just by eyeballing it, it looks like you might have the wider 5/8" variety. If so, consider our Series 600 spiral balance. If you're certain it's 3/8", I would go with our Series 900 instead. In either case, I'd recommend the 29" length.

As for the sash release levers, I can't be sure what to recommend. It greatly depends on the size and spacing of the installation forks. The top is purely cosmetic. Start with our 26-119 or 26-234.
