replacement window channel balance(s)

I need window channel balances for two metal frame windows. The channel is 28 inches not including the plastic ends and slight more that 1/2 wide. Stamped on the side of the channel is "27 4 LN Caldwell". the closest item I found was 28" series 351. Please recommend the correct replacement with end piece.

I'm not sure if the S351-28 is what you need. The stamp tells us how strong the spring is, but not the Series. The only way to be sure of that is to carefully compare your nylon fittings to those that come with the Series 351 channel balance.

The Series 351 nylon fittings appear the same as mine. Can you tell me how strong the spring show be?

Sure! Based on your stamp of 27 4, I would recommend our 2740 option.
