replacing a pivot shoe

My windows have a metal frame, so cutting the frame is not an option, or a terrible option. Any more ideas?

Thank you for reaching out to us. We recommend following the cut-out method shown in the related video. The only difference is that we recommend using heavy-duty snips to make the cutout on an aluminum window.
