replacing broken pivot shoe

i have Simonton Prism Platinum double hung windows installed in 2004! and i orderd Item # 15-192 Pivot Shoes, but they dont fit in the grove that the shoe slides in and how in the world do you get that double spring thing out so you can attach the pivot she ?? i have watched some of your U-Tube videos but dont see one like mine. did i order the wrong part ??
