replacing old BSI channel balances

A home owner from California says:
Hi,

I am inquiring about replacing old BSI channel balances for non-tilting single sash windows.

The 30" S385 series channels look to be correct dimensions. My question is regarding the weight ratings. If my sash's weight comes in at 22.7lbs, should I go for 2930 or 2940, since the weight is right on the border?

Thank you,
Sung

Bob from SWISCO responded:

The 2930 supports a window sash in the weight range of 16 through 23 lbs, so it would support a sash that weighs 22.7 lbs. Therefore 2930 is the option you want. Let me know if you have any other questions.
