replacing old wool pile with 58-022 FIN SEAL wool pile

Hi,

The sliding window in my apartment needs new pile weather stripping, I think I can install the stuff myself. I took out a sample and size wise, the 9/32 x 9/32 58-022 matches what I am having.

However the version I have does not have a center fin seal. Will that cause a problem with the replacement?

The fin seal is an extra seal that you add to the wool pile. Since it is very pliable, there shouldn't be a problem.
