replacing screen using rigid screen spline

A quick learner from Nantucket says:
I have Andersen storm doors with screen inserts that look exactly like the one in your video that uses rigid spline # 55-109. Try as I might, I just cannot get the spline to "stay" in place - it just doesn't seem to "snap" under any lip of the screen as the movie clip shows.

I have attached a photo of my screen door with #55-109 rigid spline.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Thank you for reaching out to us, Wayne. It is a little tricky to install the 55-109 flat spline. I recommend you take a look at both videos related on this page if you haven't already looked at them. Repairing screens in general takes a certain knack to do. There's no real trick to it, unfortunately. It just takes a little bit of time and patience.
