replacing sliding closet door bottom track

I want to replace the existing closet door track and your 72" Sliding Mirror Door Bottom Track Product Code: 23-242 looks like the correct replacement part.
Three questions:
#1 two of my openings are smaller than 72", can you cut them to order?
#2 one of my openings is 132", is it best to get 2 72" pieces and again cut to size?
#3 where the 2 72" pieces meet, will the closet door run smooth or will it hang?

Do you cut them down? Or do I need to purchase a 72" and have them cut down myself?

great. Final question, is the satin nickle a true muted silver color as opposed to the gold which is shiny.
