replacing spiral spring balance

Folks,

I have a broken spring balance. (27", dia. 5/8", no color tip) Not sure which Swisco series replacement part I need. Balance itself is old, but works. The bracket is the broken piece. However the swisco replacement bracket doesn't seem to match the end of this balance. Ideas?

I'm afraid we don't have any balance like this, no. However, do you think you could substitute using our Series 500 spiral balance with a 17-012 bracket?
