replacing the sliding mechanism

Home Owner from Clinton, TN

This is a Merillat cabinet from the early 90.

This drawer dive at the rear.

When trying to place the piece of IMG1658, it is too short for holding. I noticed a bent at the back end of this piece. Is that the reason.

What should I buy for replacement?

Hello! Looks like you need a new drawer socket. The Merillat socket isn't made anymore, but our 32-119 can be used as a substitute.

However, you mention that the existing socket is too short. With that in mind, you may want to consider a longer option like our 32-018. This should also be compatible with your old drawer track.

Please note that both the 32-119 and 32-018 both screw to the back of the cabinet, whereas your old socket plugged in. Regardless of which product you go with, you'll need to drill new holes.
