replacing weatherstripping in non removable windows

Question

I bought 2 rolls of the 5/16 kerf mount weqtherstripping to repair 17 year old Caradco windows in my house. It is an exact match to the original but I am unclear how to get it seated properly in the slot on the bottom of the bottom window without being able to remove the window. The window has a label on the upper track that I have photographed and included.

Any suggestions??

I'm not sure what it is you purchased. I see you were looking at our 58-053, is this what you're trying to install? If so, this just pushes into the slot. There's no real trick to it. What problem are you running into, exactly?
