rivet popping on operator

A quick learner from Wisconsin, USA says:

I installed new bar hinges (36-048) and an operator on a slimline window. Everything went together well, but when I close the window the weather stripping on the hinge side of the window is tight and the rivet in the operator hinge joint pops out.

Wondering how I can adjust the window, operator or bar hinges to avoid the rivet from coming out?

Hello,

I'm not sure which of the rivets are popping out of your hinge. With that being said, there is a slight adjustment to move the sash location. Take a look at the hinge arm with the detach clip. If you remove the detach clip from the stud on the hinge base, you will see a Hex shape on the stud. Then, you'd turn the hex stud using the 75-034 wrench to move the sash location away from the weatherstripping. Take a look at the video below for a more detailed explanation of this process. Thank you!
