Series 385 comes fully assembled with the 19-005 top and 15-004 (1-3/32" deep) bottom fittings attached.
See 62-005 for the rivet only for replacing a top fitting.

If you replace the rivet that holds the spring how do you stretch the spring to hook it back on to the river?

You don't ever want to mess with the rivet that holds the spring. That should never be removed, drilled out, or tampered with in any way. These are steel springs under 20-30 pounds of pressure, if not more. One wrong move and you could lose an eye.
Never try to replace that rivet. If yours is broken, then you need a new balance.
