I purchased coil housing pivots 15-087, Jan 2022 at the time I didn't realize I needed the coils as well, I am finally ready to use them, the windows were purchased in 2010 from Home Depot, the tag reads; 23 3/4x57 1/4, 8501-2, 19982288*2*2*1.1 1, 19 15/16x 28 5.16, 08/18 SS LowE 3 Argon. they are vinyl replacement windows. Please advise which coils I need. Thanks. Darryl

Hello,

If the 15-087 matches your original coil housing pivot, you would need the S180 coil springs that are used with this assembly. Your original coils should have numbers stamped on them that you will use to choose the corresponding strength option. If not, you'll need to weigh your sash and divide the weight by the number of coils used on both sides. Thanks for posting!

When the window failed in late 2021 the tilt latch had broken, I found you through Google. One spring uncoiled in the track,as well, never thought to look for a number, the sash weighs 11.2 lbs, I will order S180-6, thanks for the help.

Great, I agree that one S180-6 coil on each side should support the weight of your sash. Just let us know if you have any other questions.
