Two years ago I ordered S380-30 : 30" Series 380 Channel Balance. They worked great.
Now I ordered same product and they don't hold the window. Upon review I saw that newer ones have longer spring and it is "softer". Balances don't hold window up.
Most windows are the same size.
Weight and dimensions has not changed since last order.
Balances that came 2 years ago function awesome!
It looks like all new balances have weaker, softer spring.
In the attached photo the new one in in the middle.
I believe previous order is on the left and on the right is original one.
