I have some of the tabs broken off. They are spring loaded and hold the upper part of the sash in place.
Not sure of the window brand. Maybe Sears?

Your thumb latch reminds me of the 26-343. This is used with the 26-239 and 26-240 latches. We recommend you remove the old hardware from the window to confirm they match up with our specifications.
