Dealing with a Certainteed single sash window. It appears a fitting can be inserted into the slot which can act as a sash or vent lock. The part was missing when we moved in. The slot measures 3/16" by 1-1/16". The slot is on the right interior side and there is no slot on the left. What part # do you suggest?
Did find a broken part inside the side rail when I tilted the sash inwards. It is shown in the first 2 photos. Could this be the missing part?
