sash pivot identification

Tilt window came with the house. Not sure it is yours. I have a lower sash window pivot that is broken at the screw insertion and so turns in the carrier which then does not slide. Only mark is "China" empossed on top.
Ruler is marked in tenths of inch.

It looks like you have an old Simonton brand pivot barm which, unfortunately, isn't made anymore. The good news is that you can use our 26-336 as a substitute. Look it over and let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. Not sure I can be clear but I don't think that replacement will work. In the original the up/down dimension of the end that goes into the frame fits in a slot which is forced to rotate 90 degrees when the window itself is rotated. The vertical dimension of the end is longer than the horizontal to fit in that slot. It is in the same direction as the tab that fits into the window. From the picture of 26-336 it appears that the tab fitting into the the frame is at 90 degrees to the tab fitting into the window so that it would either turn in the slot or not fit at all.

I understand your concern regarding the different shaped tip of the pivot bar but for the last few years, Simonton Window Manufacturer has used this new style pivot bar, 26-336, with the original pivot shoe without any problems.
