sash and balance

This old rod balance is no longer made, but it can be replaced with the superior Series 775 Channel Balance. Measure the length of the rod to determine the metal channel length you need. Measure the size of the wedge shoe, it should be either 1" or 1-1/4". Then weigh the window sash (the movable part with the glass) to determine what stamp option you should select.
