Hello. Please take a look at our 40-040 push pull latch. Could this be the latch you're looking for? Get back to ud and let us know.

I have a storm door and the spring that returns the latch to a horizontal position is broken.
You can see in the 2nd picture that the latch handle hangs down. Normally it would spring back into the horizonal position and catch on the door frame to hold the door shut. Do you have something to repair or replace that?

Sure, I'm very familiar with this problem. When the handles droop like that, it means the spring contained in the interior handle has failed. This spring can't be replaced by itself, unfortunately, so you will need an all new handle.

Furthermore, your exact handle set isn't even made anymore. Thankfully that won't be much of a problem. Your design is very simple and I feel confident that you can use our 40-150 as a substitute. It should be compatible with all your existing hardware so it should get everything working as good as new. Look it over and see what you think!
