do you carry this latch this is a pella screen also, the 70-220 screen latch above, is that a universal part for pella screens, would it also work on sides

Will 70-220 also work the cost of the 70-143P is way too pricey I need 12 pieces

The 70-220 will likely not work. Unfortunately, you have some very good (and expensive) Pella windows, and the parts are genuine Pella parts. 70-143P is your only option.

thanks!! I will keep looking elsewhere, maybe try some gorilla glue until I find one I can afford.
