screen push pin

Question

Please see attached 3 images and advise if you have anything that would replace the push pin on the screen. The screens are from Kolbe and Kolbe and are almost 20 years old.

How wide is your screen frame? The reason I ask is that in cases with a 1" screen frame (which is not typical; normally, screen frames are 3/4" wide), I usually take the 70-008 or 70-009 pull pin and cut the neck of the plastic cap. By cutting the neck shorter, it allowed the pin to stick out further and work with the wider frame.
