securing the closer and the 40-006 bracket

Question

I bought 2 of your 40-006 in swing brackets. I bought a closer from a local hardware chain. after opening it the hardware package had only wood screws and no means of securing the closer and the 40-006 bracket.would one of your closer be specific for that 40-006 bracket.

You should be able to locate screws at a local hardware store in your area. Also look at our 33-017 sheet metal screw. Something like this, or even a thicker like a #10, could work to secure the 40-006 bracket. Just check the length with the material you're going into. You might need to use a shorter screw. The type of closer normally used with this bracket is the 40-077.
