seeking clarification on mounting options for #4 commercial door closer

A handy person from DeWitt, IA says:

Hi,

I'm looking to replace a door closer on an all steel (door and jamb) exterior entrance. I believe the description of what I currently have is "parallel, door & under jamb-mounted". I believe the #4 size is appropriate for my situation, but I want to be sure that the closer comes with mounting hardware that would support the same application configuration as shown in my photos. As there is a window immediately above the door I don't have a lot of jamb space atop the door to work with and would like to mount the new closing arm under the door jamb again. I understand that I may have to drill new holes... not worried about that.  is in reference to your part #79-264 (#4, Commercial Door Closer, Bronze). I haven't seen a reply come through yet, so I re-read the question I'd posted and realized I might not have provided complete info.

Thanks,

Luke

Thank you for your patience during this busy season. Yes, the 79-264 does come with fasteners. I just ran back and checked our stock and they come with a pack of screws for installation. Whether they will work for your application, I cannot say. You have a pretty unique setup, so I can't be 100% sure. However I can tell you the 79-264 does come with all screws necessary to install it in normal circumstances.

Oooh, I see. I'm afraid our 79-264 doesn't come with anything like your bracket. I'm glad you were able to determine what you need, though. If you have any other questions, we're always here to help as best as we can.

Thanks. To clarify, the inclusion of screws was not my concern. I was primarily wondering about the inclusion of an under-jamb mounting bracket (similar to the triangular bracket shown in my photo).. as well as attempting to understand whether the 79-264 part description of "top jamb or parallel arm installation" described the same type of installation I currently have. I've done some other reading/research and think I'll be able to figure it out.
