sgd-r20 96X82 sliding door latch

I have a sliding door sgd-r20 96X82 and I have a problem with the door lattch
The latch would not lock any more in other words the hook will not engage to the opposite latch hole seems like spring problem


please help

Thanks for posting, Amin! You're right, it sounds like you need a new interior lock. Before we can recommend a replacement, though, we just need a bit more information. To start, can you tell me what the distance is between the screw hole centers? That will help us locate a possible replacement.

Thanks for your efficient reply Tom

The distance between the two outside screws (center to center) as I meassured is 3 11/16" approximately

Thank you for the additional information. Please take a look at our 82-218 Mortise Lock and compare it to your existing hardware. Could you use this as a replacement?
