shower door bracket/magnet

shower door no longer stays shut because magnet fell out of bracket. door pull is fine. tried to cut and stick magnet strip into bracket as show in pic, but still does not hold door shut. the only marking found is "Unitex" on the glass.

To be honest, I would've recommended the stick-on magnetic, too. Could it be that the other side is missing a steel piece that the magnetic strip is attracted to?
