side weather stripping for a 1978 stanley steel entrance door

please advise me for some replacement weather strip about 7 feet long, fits into a slot in the door jam. see picture attached Also how do you remove the old seal and then install the new one. Does it just pull out or must you remove the jam and slide the new piece in. And then how do you remove the jam to start with

It looks like you may have the 58-008 door seal. You should be able to pull out the old and push in the new. Sometimes the paint sticks to the weatherstrip, making it difficult to pull out.
