I am looking for a replacement part for a Simonton window - the crank used to open and close the window. Do you carry this?

We sell the 39-375 handle/nesting cover combo. I believe this could be what you're looking for. Look it over and let me know if you agree.

The part came but it is the wrong size. I've included a picture to show what I mean. What is the process for returning the product and exchanging for another crank? The design matches but the point of attachment to the window doesn't. Would it be helpful if I sent the part in the picture?

I'm sorry to hear that they didn't match up. I'm surprised that it didn't, though. Can you confirm the exact diameter of the hole on your old handle?

Appreciate it. I'm surprised too. The inside diameter is just over 1 centimeter. The handle I ordered is just under. It is about a 2 millimeter difference or less, but enough that it won't slide over the the piece attached to the window. I would like to return the one I purchased and exchange for another, but I don't want to do that if the size won't work. Do the cranks have specifications on them to indicate inside diameter on the crank where it attaches to the window? Is the 39=376 perhaps the right version? Any way to tell the inside diameter?

The 39-376 is the same as the 39-375, it just faces the opposite direction.

I'm honestly not sure what size you may need. Your old operator looks like a Truth brand part, and to my knowledge Truth has only made operators with an 11/32" spline. We only carry one operator handle that has a smaller spline, which is our 39-274. However this looks nothing like what you have and it is used on a very different operator brand.

The more I think about this and look at your photos, the more convinced I am that your old handle is, in fact, 11/32". I can't imagine that Truth makes the same style handle with only a 2mm difference. If they have, it's not something we've been able to find or have ever seen. There must be something else at play here, but I don't know what.

Either way, we don't have another handle that can work for you. The 39-375 is our best match according to the details you gave us. It should work and I don't know why it doesn't.
