sliding glass door handle

The latch broke on this sliding door handle after less than 3 years. We would like to find a better one as a replacement. Can you recommend the correct size and type?

Hello, thank you for posting,

For a new handle set, please start by reviewing the 82-089 that has a 3-15/16" installation spacing from center to center.

If you only need a new lever, you can also consider the 82-107 latch lever kit to see how the dimensions compare. Please note that when the lever breaks, it could be an issue with the internal mortise lock itself. I would recommend taking a slotted screw driver and inserting into the mortise lock to determine you can throw the latch hooks ton confirm the lock is not faulty.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thank you. With your help, we found the lock works, so we'll just need the latch. It's good to know the part numbers for future reference.
