Can you help me figure out what I need to repair this sliding glass door lock? (manufacturer unknown)
Here's the situation:
When I turn the knob from the inside handle it just spins.
When I put the key in the key from the outside handle nothing happens.
Now that I have the handle apart, when I stick a flathead in the door mechanism remaining inside the door the hooks engage ? the top 2 hooks come out and lock up while the bottom 1 comes out and locks down (although they need adjusting as they no longer line up with the frame receivers since I removed them to try to adjust), but when I put the inside and outside handles back on I'm back to the beginning.
My guess is that so much slamming over time broke something, but I can't tell what. It's always been a hard door to lock, as overtime what I think happens is that the frame door hook receivers shift and the hooks just bang against them. I'd love to find a less complex/easier to close and lock door locking system for this door, if you have any ideas to share?

Hello,
Your theory makes sense but, unfortunately, we don't carry replacement hardware for this door. The only similar option that we could offer for the handle would be the 82-093, but we can't guarantee that it would work for your application. I'm sorry that we can't offer more assistance in this case but please let us know if you have any other door or window hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
