sliding glass door rollers

Handy Person from Florida
I can't remove the rollers from my sliding patio door. Did Lanai make sliding glass doors in 2006? That is when my house was built. The lock assembly looks similar to a Lanai lock set. There is no name or numbers on the door. I did remove both screws from the roller. It looks like there are tabs on the roller holding it in the door bottom. It is a single wheel roller. Also there is a vinyl/plastic weatherstrip on either side of the door bottom, that slides on the lower door track. Do you sell those or know where I can purchase them? Thanks, Tom

Thanks for reaching out! I'm confident we'll be able to recommend a replacement roller for you, however, I will need to see a photo of it removed from the door. You'll also need to have it removed to confirm the measurements to determine if the part will fit in the door.

Take a look at the video below for instructions on removing the roller.

I told you I can't remove the roller and your video does not help me.

I understand. We do not have any information on what rollers were used for Lanai doors or if they work differently than an average vinyl patio door.

These rollers are typically made to be removed from the door especially once the installation screw was removed; allowing you to pull the roller out.

If you're able to, please see a photo of the underside of the door. That way we can at least take a look at what we are working with. We do not have enough information to go by at this time.
