HD supply part #842750 was too large in diameter and the mount to secure the cannister lock to the white holder assembly was not flush. No current markings or identifiers on existing correct size lock

Hello,

From what I gather from your discussion, it looks like the back end of the key cylinder is not flush with the back of the "key housing". It sounds like you need to enlarge the hole diameter in the handle to accept the longer key cylinder.
