I just purchased 83-006, no instructions how to install. What I have right now is a Acorn Latch & Keeper, which doesn't always keep the door closed. I wanted to replace it with the 83-006. Don't know the maker of the door. Even though I'm 72 years old female, I am quite handy. Also we bought a right hand latch, can I turn it upside down and use it on the left side? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi, Bonnie. You can use the 83-006 for either the right or left hand side interchangeably.
There are no instructions but installation is very straight-forward. It simply screws to the face of the door. Where exactly are you running into issues?
