sliding screen door latch

Question

I have been looking for a replacement latch but my door has only an inside latch with 3" holes. My problem is that the outside part of the door is raised and none of the 2 sided latches seem like they will work. Is it possible to use only the inside portion or do they need to be connected to work the lock? Or do you have one sided latches with lock?

Thanks for your patience. Your door is designed to not to have an outside pull, but I believe you can consider using the inside handle of our 84-230 lock set. See what you think.
