No markings on windows, builder grade windows, I assume.

Yes, that looks good.
Are the strips paintable?
We are considering refinishing the windows and
plan to paint with a sprayer.

Sure, you could use a Krylon paint. We also carry it in bronze, if that helps, but otherwise it'd be best to paint over the white version.
