Where to install soft closer

where is the best position to mount soft closer?
hinge side, handle side, top board?

I believe the best position would be near the hinge of the cabinet. Take a look the video below for more information.

Is it best to install a soft close adapter near the top hinge or the bottom hinge? Thank you for your help.

I would recommend installing the soft close adapter at the top of the door, as shown in the video above.
