spindle sizeing for 40-155

Question

40-155 dead bolt sizing .looks like from the inside of the storm door it must stick out a little more then 7/8
not much.the door is the right thickness .

Thanks for contacting us. The spindle for the 40-155 is 3-15/32", but it can be snipped down to size if that is too long.
