The outer sheath of this spiral balance seems to have eroded away, and that's what the diameter really should be measured by. But if the inner component was 7/16", it's likely a 5/8" outer tube, and therefore you'd need a Series 500. If the outer tube length is 31-1/2", round up for a S500-32. You can use a bracket like our 17-012. Check a balance from an identical window in the house to confirm. For a window that weighs exactly 12 pounds, a Red Tip option of 7 through 29 pounds should work. |
