Black tip for spiral balance

Hello,

I need to replace my spiral balances in my tilt window. I currently have 3/8" x 29 " with black tip spiral balances. I don't see any with black tips on your site for the size I need. What color tip spiral balance could I use to replace my existing ones?

Hey, Wayne. Sounds like you have an S900-29 balance, but they don't make Black Tips for this balance. Are you sure it's Black? Keep in mind that sometimes the grease on the springs can collect dust and dirt, which will discolor the Tip.

I think it would be best if you weigh your sash and refer to the chart shown on the S900-29. That is the best way to confirm what color tip you need.
