spiral balance choice

Question

I have a vinyl double-hung window, 61" tall, 43" wide.  The spiral balances are bad and need replaced.  They don't have a color on them....is it ok to go with blue just to be safe??

Your best bet is to weigh your sash on a scale so that you know what you order is the correct choice. It is possible to have a balance that is too strong. I see you were looking at our S600-24. Is that what you have? If so, you'll note the chart on its store page that shows each color tip option and how much weight they can support. Simply reference this chart to determine what is best.
