spiral balance double hung tilt windows

Question

I have the tools for replacement of the spiral balance, but on removing the screw the plastic holder that the screw fit in broke. How do I replace it. All the directions are for the spiral balance. No one speaks about this small piece. How do you measure and the installation HELP I am retired and have to do my own repairs.

Are you referring to the screw plug? If so, could you use our 26-200 as a match? If not, I will need to see a picture of the part in question. That will help us find the best match.
