spiral balance for 40 pound sash

Question

What spiral balance would I need for a 40-45 lb. sash non tilt impact glass and is there a special tool for adding tension?

Thanks for your questions. I believe our S600 spiral balance appears to be the best match for you. The tube looks like it is 30" long. You should be able to go with our black colored tip for the balance which holds a sash weight of 31-40 pounds. We highly recommend you weighing your sash to get the "exact" number of your sash to confirm this is the correct color option for you.
