spiral balance selection

Hello. I am replacing balance hardware on several old replacement windows that are a very heavy duty mix of vinyl and aluminum construction. All of the old spiral balance tubes appear to be 27" long and 9/16" diameter. There are no markings or tips visible on the spiral balance tubes. I m replacing pivot shoes and pivot bars at the same time as the spiral balances on the trouble windows. I have weighed the lower sashes of the windows. Most of the sashes weigh 21lbs but I also have one large sash that weighs 31lbs. The weights appear to fall within the specs of several different spiral balance options and I am just not sure which to select. Thank you for any assistance.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Since the diameter of the outer tube is 9/16", see the S600-27 with the red tip for the 21-pound sashes. For the 31-pound sash, see the blue tip.
We also suggest the 75-006 charging tool to charge the balance and to hook on the spiral to the pivot shoe. Your pivot bar looks like 26-068, but we can't be certain from your photo. As for the pivot shoe, we can only make an educated guess which is the 15-047 that is 1-1/4" wide by 5/8" thick. We recommend you review the specifications for these parts and compare them with yours to see if they match up.
