Replacement balances for MW windows

Question

We need the spiral balance springs for two windows and the other pieces they fit into. They are single hung. The part is 28" (not including the metal end piece.We can't find the name of the windows but were told they are either metal industries or MW windows. Can send other pictures if necessary.

I'm pretty sure we can help. It looks like your spiral balance in the first picture is missing its outer tube. Do you have one that still has it? If so, measure the diameter of that tube. If it's 5/8", I recommend our Series 600. I think this is what you have, but let me know if it's different just to be sure.

The piece the balance fits into is called a pivot shoe. You'll need the width and thickness in order to confirm the best match. You can see our entire selection here.
