Can you replace 3/8" balance with 9/16"

Will the 9/16th  spiral replace the 3/8th ... got the 9/16th  looks like I need the 3/8th

Unfortunately, no. They are two different balances. If you have the 3/8" originally, you should replace it with another 3/8".
