spiral window balances

Question

Hi,

I'm looking for replacement spiral window balances.
This is the first time I've dealt with this.
I believe I have 5/8" balances but it looks like they measure 1/2".
They are 22" long.
They are going in aluminum, single hung, non-tilt windows.

I'm including a picture of the current balance for your reference.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

Good morning, Tom. Thanks for posting. I actually recognize this balance. Unfortunately, these aren't made any longer. Right now we've been using our Series 500 spiral balance with our 17-012 metal bracket as a substitute. Check out our S500-22 and see what you think. You may also want to consider our 75-005 charging tool.
