We have a window that can be open by sliding up and down on both sides of the frame. There is a coiled spring that help to carry the weight of the window. The coiled springs are broken and we would need a replacement part. We are not able to identify the window manufacturer. There does not seem to be an info on the window. Can you please help us find a part that would replace the coiled springs.
Thank you
Thank you

Good Morning,
To get started, please take a look at the Swisco 15-186 Sash Support Coil Balance and the Swisco 15-182 Sash Support Coil Balance. You will also want to look at our Series 190 Coil Balances and compare your measurements. |

Thank you for your advice. We identified from your pictures that we need coil spring S190. Unfortunately we cannot identify the coil stamp. The only thing we do not know is the stamp number. Using your calculation guide we calculated 22 lbs sash weight, so we need 11 lbs coil balance on each side. Please advise which stamp number is the correct one for our calculations.

You can go to the Custom Balance Order Form if you do not see your coil stamp.
