spring inside handle wont open and close

Question

Trying to replace the handle. the springs inside dont open and close properly. the unit is probably 30 years old.

This is a very old handle. Take a look at our 82-060 and see if the mounting holes and other dimensions match up to your handle. You may be able to use it as a substitute.
